5 Keys to Good Communication

Queen mary G. Blackwell

Art of Communcation

As the fairest and most beloved ruler in all the lands, effective communication is key to maintaining order within my kingdom. Allow me to impart some wisdom.

Listen generously

Mellow thy harsh tones to better absorb the peasants’ grumblings. This flatters them so.

Compliment sincerely

Lavish praise, however empty, uplifts spirits. “What a becoming shade of pallor, subject!”

Compromise willingly

If one demand proves too onerous, another may serve. “No bread? Then you shall eat cake!”

Address respectfully

Noble titles and honorifics engender gratitude and fealty. “That’s ‘Your Royal Heinous’ to you, knave!”

Remain solutions-focused

Avoid dwelling on past grievances. Forwards towards a golden age!

Take heart, my folk – with such sage guidance, harmony within my realm is assured. Now, who wishes to try my new flavored poison cupcakes? Communication is a two-way street, after all.

Her Imperial Majesty Mary G. Blackwell the III, Queen of Crimswood.
